Raw Chocolate Almond Brownies: YUM!

Brownie base
  1. 1 cup pitted dates
  2. 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  3. 1/3 cup raw almonds
Frosting
  1. 1 avocado
  2. 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  3. 1/3 cup maple syrup or raw honey
  4. 1/4 cup almond milk
  5. pinch of sea salt (optional)
  6. 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
  1. Place base ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until the mixture starts to resemble potting soil
  2. Pat into a small pan (8 in x 8 in)
  3. Blend all frosting ingredients until smooth and spread over the brownie base
  4. Put in the freezer and let it settle for an hour*
  5. Enjoy every bite of this deliciousness!
Notes
  1. *If you want your brownies to be harder, you can keep them in the freezer. For a softer consistency, keep refrigerated.
